Maya often forgets that much of the words she says don't immediately occur to everyone, or make invaluable reminders in any case. Really, she doesn't think she deserves such thanks for doing what she would hope any of the girl's friends would gladly do and say--with the same impact, too. ...But she won't be bringing that up, of course. What's important is that she was here for Roxy, when she needed it. She's shown someone how to think differently, more positively, today. Hopefully.]
